A 6-inch core of GOLS- and FSC-certified Dunlop latex, wrapped in Premium Eco Wool and encased in GOTS-certified organic cotton canvas. The wool does the job of a fire barrier on its own, so there are no chemical retardants in this mattress.
The feel is firm and supportive (ILD 28). If you want more softness, add one of the wool or wool-and-latex toppers; the two together make a complete natural sleep system on a Corsican iron bed.
