If you are a mom on the go and daily pressures of family and business life consumes all of your energy, here is how you can find serenity amidst the chaos with some quick tips:

Wake up a little earlier than your children

Moms are in full speed from the time they wake up until the time they go to bed. By waking up twenty minutes before the children, you can get a little quiet time.

Only once a week grocery shopping

Don’t run to the store with army of little ones several times a week. Get one day of the week to be the Grocery-Shopping-Day and make the shopping list throughout the week with the whole family.

Take advantage of the Stuck-in-Traffic-Time

If you sit in your car every day on the way to work, take advantage of this time by using a voice recorder to make your to-do list.

The-night-before preparations

Getting the kids out the door in the morning can be chaotic, so you should do whatever you can the night before to get more prepared in the morning. You can lay out yours and their clothes for the next day, load the backpacks, fill the cute diaper bags with baby blankets and organic baby clothes, pack the lunches or set the table for breakfast. Doing a little the night before means a lot in the morning, when everybody is more irritable.

Time-management apps

Today there is an app for every little thing, so make sure you take advantage of all of that technology to save time. Use banking apps to deposit checks from your phone, grocery apps to use coupons without clipping, calendar apps to have appointments and events organized, and food apps to find quick and healthy recipes.

It is ok to say “no”

Most of the moms are trying to be everything to everybody, and to do everything for everybody. But, as much as moms try, everybody cannot be satisfied all the time. You should learn to say “no” because there is no need to join every group of moms, to volunteer for every committee there is, to sign up your children for every activity out there or attend every event to which you are invited. Highlight the things that are truly important to you and say “no” to everything else.

Cook ahead

You can prepare dishes for the rest of the week on Sunday afternoon. That way you can save time, but also avoid eating junk food because you didn’t have time to cook. Use Sunday afternoon for cooking and freezing meals, and you’ll have quickly prepared lunches the whole next week.

You won’t be able to keep up with work or family if you don’t take time to yourself. Use some of the saved with these six quick tips for busy moms and just relax!
