Designed by Bania, Karina.
Contemporary wall art featuring words of inspiration, a child, and a helicopter.
This canvas wall art is reproduced in Oopsy Daisy's San Diego studios using the best digital printing method currently available, resulting in great clarity and color saturation. After printing, the canvas is stretched by hand over a custom built 1.5inch wood frame. The canvas wraps around the sides providing a finished decorative edge. While not needed for canvases, solid wood framing in a contemporary floater style is available in ten sizes and two color choices. A saw tooth hanger is attached for easy hanging and artist biography information is included on the back so that children can learn more about today's working artists. Canvases are exceptionally durable and can be cleaned with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
Karina Bania is a largely self-taught painter who has been training to be an artist ever since childhood, when she first picked up a paintbrush. The whimsical mixed-media paintings she creates are layered with texture, hidden notes, and timeless images. These combined elements create a playful sophistication that brings everyday objects to life. Karina cites the years she spent in India as being of major influence in her art and she believes that art is one of the best ways through which we can see the world.
