Soaring Heart's classic mattress: one 6-inch piece of GOLS-certified organic Dunlop latex, with no glued layers to fail, wrapped in organic wool and organic cotton. The wool is needle-punched to meet flammability standards on its own, so the mattress contains no chemical fire retardants.
Latex contours to the body while staying supportive, and this one comes in Firm or Extra Firm. Pair it with a wool topper for a softer surface, and with a Corsican iron bed for the frame it deserves.

What support does it need?
A flat, evenly slatted surface or a solid foundation. Ask us about the right support for your Corsican frame before you order and we will confirm it with the maker.
Is it firm or soft?
Firm and supportive on its own. For a softer surface add a wool or wool-and-latex topper; the two together make a complete natural sleep system.
Are there chemical fire retardants?
No. The wool wrap meets the flammability standard on its own, so nothing is added.
How does it ship?
By ground from the maker, compressed or rolled where the construction allows. Allow a day to fully expand.
