The shikibuton is the traditional Japanese mattress: thin, light, and made to be rolled up and put away. Holy Lamb's version keeps that flexibility and builds it from a 3-inch natural latex core, a thin layer of Premium Eco Wool, and an organic cotton canvas shell.
It works on a platform or the floor, folds into a closet when the room needs to be something else, and makes a good guest bed or a low-profile mattress for a small space.

What support does it need?
A flat, evenly slatted surface or a solid foundation. Ask us about the right support for your Corsican frame before you order and we will confirm it with the maker.
Is it firm or soft?
Firm and supportive on its own. For a softer surface add a wool or wool-and-latex topper; the two together make a complete natural sleep system.
Are there chemical fire retardants?
No. The wool wrap meets the flammability standard on its own, so nothing is added.
How does it ship?
By ground from the maker, compressed or rolled where the construction allows. Allow a day to fully expand.
