A little girl and boy gleefully bound through a glen in this precious artwork for kids' rooms. Helen Dardik's marvelous art style is reminiscent of vibrant folk art full of color and character with an adorable retro feel.
This canvas wall art is reproduced in Oopsy Daisy's San Diego studios using the best digital printing method currently available, resulting in great clarity and color saturation. After printing, the canvas is stretched by hand over a custom built 1.5inch wood frame. The canvas wraps around the sides providing a finished decorative edge. While not needed for canvases, solid wood framing in a contemporary floater style is available in ten sizes and two color choices. A saw tooth hanger is attached for easy hanging and artist biography information is included on the back so that children can learn more about today's working artists. Canvases are exceptionally durable and can be cleaned with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
Helen Dardik was born by the Black Sea in Odessa, Russia and now works out of Canada. After living in Siberia, studying art & design in Israel, and finally settling in Canada in 1993, she began working as a graphic designer and illustrator. Helen mainly works in digital media, but once in a while watercolor, gouache, oil paint, and embroidery find their way into her repertoire. Her inspiration comes from her 3 little girls, vintage illustration, and her own childhood.
