Designed by Carluccio, Maria.
A great educational piece that will teach little ones their 123's by counting their favorite animals!
This canvas wall art is reproduced in Oopsy Daisy's San Diego studios using the best digital printing method currently available, resulting in great clarity and color saturation. After printing, the canvas is stretched by hand over a custom built 1.5inch wood frame. The canvas wraps around the sides providing a finished decorative edge. While not needed for canvases, solid wood framing in a contemporary floater style is available in ten sizes and two color choices. A saw tooth hanger is attached for easy hanging and artist biography information is included on the back so that children can learn more about today's working artists. Canvases are exceptionally durable and can be cleaned with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
Maria Carluccio's career in graphic design began after she graduated from Carnegie Mellon University. She has had side careers as a textile designer, editorial illustrator, children's book author, and product designer, each of which has left its influence on her art. Maria draws her inspiration from nature, the random objects she collects, and her pets and their habits. Maria's collages have a vintage appeal thanks to the range of papers and trims she chooses, but she always adds a fresh sophisticated edge to her work.
