Jennifer Mercede graduated with a B.A. in painting from Western Washington University before moving to Portland. By showing art in coffee shops, Portland formed Jennifer's artistic personality and she began to receive the love and support of a great community. Her painting style references free-flowing text, bright color fields, and crazy, energetic doodling. Jennifer's art is meant to engender joy and motivate, and she gets inspired by life adventures, childrens art, old-school hip hop, graffiti, abstract expressionism, and creative friends.
