SHIPPING POLICIES, RATES AND PROCEDURES



Standard Shipping

Your card will be charged at the time you place your order, and our baby and children's products are shipped as soon as possible. We will notify you immediately by email if there is a delay expected on your shipment beyond the lead time listed with the product.

Shipping charges are based upon the total amount of your order. These rates apply only to orders shipped via ground shipping within the contiguous United States. Some of our products will require a signature upon delivery.

Certain items, such as larger kids' furniture pieces including baby cribs, armoires, nursery chairs, etc... which are bulky and heavy, require extra care and will incur a Delivery Surcharge, in addition to the appropriate charge outlined above.These charges will be shown on the individual product page.

Free Shipping

Many of our baby nursery decor and gift products and our children's decor and gifts qualify for free shipping. If you decide to return an item that shipped free, you will be credited for a full refund minus any shipping that we were billed by the artisan who crafted and shipped your product.

International Orders

At this time, we do not offer international shipping through our baby store's checkout system. If you are interested in purchasing items from our site and live outside of the contiguous USA, please call our studio for information. We can contact manufacturers to inquire about the possibility of shipping to your location, as well as obtain the shipping fees for your area. In any case, we can not offer you the shipping rates listed on the site. Your shipping will be significantly higher.

Delivery to Post Office Boxes

Most of our products will ship via UPS or FedEx, which don't deliver to PO boxes. A physical address must be included at check out. We cannot process orders that only provide a PO Box at check-out.

Drop Shipped Items

We are unable to stock every product in our baby boutique. Many items will ship directly from our artisans to your door and will therefore have the artisan's return address label on the box.

Shipping Surcharges

Baby furniture, children's furniture and other bulky or heavy items require special handling and will incur a delivery surcharge in addition to the standard shipping rates provided on the product page. All delivery surcharges are shown on each product page and are included in the product price as a "Shipping Surcharge" or "Delivery Options". Damaged Products (for Non Furniture Related Orders) Insurance and delivery confirmation are included for all shipments. Jack and Jill Boutique is committed to ensuring that you receive your products in the best condition. We ship using reliable methods, including UPS Ground, FedEx Ground and/or USPS Mail for all purchases. If your package is damaged in transit, notify us via email at info@jackandjillboutique.com within 2 business days of delivery and save the packaging. (Claims will not be processed after the 2 day period.) Your shipper might require you to provide the damaged packaging in order to process the insurance claim. We will provide replacements, whenever available, for lost or damaged goods or provide a full refund of your purchase price.

Freight Shipping

Large, bulky items, including nursery furniture and kids furniture, typically ship via freight carrier, which generally takes about 2-3 weeks depending on the origination location and the delivery location. Consider this transit time in addition to the regular lead time listed for the product on our website. Freight companies will contact you a few days before delivery to schedule a delivery date and time frame that works for you. You must be present to receive, inspect and sign for your shipment. The majority of freight carriers offer delivery times Monday thru Friday from 9 AM to 5PM. Standard freight drivers will deliver furniture to your driveway only.(Referred to on the product pages as "Front Door Delivery" or "Curbside Delivery".) It will be YOUR responsibility to remove the furniture from the back of the truck and take it into your home. Please be sure to have a person or two available to assist you. It is not the driver's responsibility to do any more than to get the product shifted to the back of the truck for you. "In Room Delivery" includes placing the items inside the threshold of your home or in a particular room, depending on the freight company. (Assembly service is not provided by the driver/delivery personnel with either of these two delivery options.) "Premium Delivery", which can include light assembly and removal of all packaging materials, can often be arranged for an additional fee. Please contact us via email at info@jackandjillboutique.com for Premium shipping rates and include your address for an accurate quote. Please bring to our attention, any specific arrangements needed to gain access to your residence such as spiral staircases, or freight elevators, etc..., as additional fees or surcharges may apply. Please note that due to the extra care and handling involved with our Premier Delivery service the shipping time may be extended up to 1-2 weeks beyond standard shipping times. Shipping times will vary based on ship to address. Freight items can ONLY be shipped within the 48 contiguous states.

Upon arrival of your order, you are responsible for performing a thorough inspection of your products while in the presence of the driver. Though rare, damages may occur in transit. If you find any signs of damage to the item's packaging, it is imperative that you note the damage on the driver's delivery ticket. If you sign the delivery ticket without notating any damage, we cannot assist you in the repair or replacement of the merchandise. Notify us immediately (within 24 hours of delivery) via email of any damages noted. Otherwise we cannot assist you in repair or replacement of the item.

FOR BRATT DECOR FURNITURE ONLY: We offer three levels of delivery, Curbside, Front Door, In Room. Free curbside delivery is available as a courtesy for cribs only. Other furniture pieces will incur delivery charges and two options are listed on each product page.

*NOTE: FREE curbside delivery of cribs...Furniture and other over-sized items are shipped via specialized freight carriers. Items shipped with CURBSIDE DELIVERY will be placed at the end of your drive or sidewalk. In some instances the delivery driver may require assistance getting an item off the truck. If this is the case, you will be notified by the delivery agent when they call to set-up your delivery appointment. Be sure to have someone available to help you get the crib off of the truck and into your home. We are not responsible for costs incurred if you are not prepared for the delivery of your goods and the driver leaves with the goods due to your inability to receive. Front Door Delivery for Bratt Decor: Driver will take the item to your front door or garage door...at his own discretion. In Room Delivery includes placing the items inside the threshold of your home or in a particular room, depending on the freight company. (Assembly service is not provided by the driver/delivery personnel with either of these two delivery options.)
